Aviation safety and confidentiality declaration
Aviation footage carries duties that an ordinary video does not. By ticking the corresponding boxes, you confirm the points below.
Safety comes first
- Filming never distracted you, or anyone else, from a task affecting safety.
- You did not film during phases or tasks where your operator, employer or authority forbids it. Rules vary, and it is your responsibility to know the ones that apply to you.
- The footage does not show or encourage an unsafe practice presented as acceptable. If it shows an incident or an error, tell us in the description.
Confidentiality and employer rules
- Sharing this footage breaches no confidentiality clause, social media policy or instruction from your employer, operator, maintenance organisation, customer or authority.
- If you are unsure, ask them before submitting.
Restricted information
The footage does not reveal:
- security-restricted areas or checkpoints where filming is prohibited, access codes, badges, or cockpit door procedures;
- sensitive documents: manifests, passenger or crew personal data, company manuals or task cards marked as confidential;
- military, state or otherwise restricted operations or equipment.
People and companies
- Anyone identifiable has agreed to appear, or you flag it in the description so that we can blur or leave out the footage.
- Logos, registration marks and liveries may identify a company. Tell us if we should avoid naming or showing them.
What we do on our side
We review footage by hand, may blur details, and may refuse anything that raises doubt. Our review does not replace your responsibility. Automatic or AI-assisted analysis is never treated as proof that a video is safe or legally usable.
